So far we have eaten at off the beaten path restaurants but last night we headed back to Franz Liszt square, you remember him, he has started quite a discussion as to his actual heritage, to find Menza, a restaurant recommended by Rick Steves. The square was bustling with people\ and cars squeezing down narrow streets that seem to be in the middle of the restaurants. We found the place easily and waited inside until an outside table became available, about 5 minutes.
Excellent service, excellent food, excellent atmosphere. Rick Steves was right.
I'm sure some, or all, of you are thinking all we do is eat. With yesterdays busy bank, bank, bank, bank, bank, George, and phone adventure we hadn't eaten much, at least by my standards, so we even splurged for dessert. They were authentic Hungarian desserts, remember the cultural exchange.
We are checking out of the hotel later this morning and will head to the new flat. We go to the Fulbright office at 1 pm, only about 3 blocks from the flat. We discovered that yesterday when we looked at the address of the Fulbright office.
We are hoping to cook dinner at home tonight.
We are getting emails on the Kindle so don't hesitate to check in.
