Just a quick post tonight. We had a busy day with Aniko and Peter and their daughters Sarah and Susan. They invited us to go to the Palace of Miracles. A sort of science center or exploritorium. Many fun things for kids of all ages. The building was once a railroad car manufacturing plant and to me the coolest thing was a 100 Ton crane that was still in the building. The designers had incorporated it into the current application. While we waited for Aniko and the family we wandered around a market place. These markets are everywhere, we have visited at least six. The food vendors are always busy and the offerings fresh and hot. We also found the Unitarian Church, those guys are everywhere. The McDonald's in Budapest all have gourmet coffee counters with pastries. They actually make a good cup of coffee and are open when the little coffee houses aren't. Hungarians drink a ton of coffee but they don't drink it early in the mornings.
Enjoy the pictures.
