Clayton Guest Blog Post

OK, so i'm in Hungary now. After a good night's rest we went out for a coffee and then out into the city. We walked a lot, just as you should in any city of historical interest such as Budapest. We rode public transit, and saw a pickpocket -- or a would be pickpocket. He got caught trying to grab some guys wallet. He got yelled at my the mans wife, and then suspiciously followed us to the next train we rode. I was eyeing him carefully through my dark sunglasses. I was ready for anything, making sure my own wallet and camera was still in my pocket. Nothing else came of the ride, good people watching though. That was the most eventful thing of the day.

The food is great, the people are friendly, and lots of interesting things to see. For instance on one random road walking after breakfast i'm pretty sure I saw a Banksy graffiti or possibly a copy cat, either way it was cool.

I saw lots of interesting looking buildings, lots of scenery. Looking forward to more picture taking. The only negative of the trip so far is the Paris Airport. Terrible signage, nothing interesting to look at, other than good people watching. I decided that the biggest indicator of an american tourist is the shoes they wear. For instance, I was wearing flip flops, some other americans next to me waiting for the plane were wearing regular tennis shoes, where everyone else i saw was either wearing "lifestyle shoes" ie. puma's and other exotic styled shoes or more fancy leather shoes. Nearly all the women were wearing heels.

That's it for now. May take over more of the blog later.
